On August 26, 2025, SpaceX successfully launched the tenth test flight of its Starship rocket from Texas. After several tries that didn’t go as planned, this flight was a big win for the company. The launch worked well, and the top part of the rocket separated perfectly from the big bottom part.
The rocket had some important jobs to do, and it did all of them. The big bottom part of the rocket fired its engines to come back down and landed in the ocean, just like they wanted. The top part of the rocket then let go of eight fake satellites and kept flying before it started its return trip to Earth.
After coming back into Earth’s air, the top part of the rocket used its engines to slow down and landed in the water right where it was supposed to. Even though the heat shield and other parts got a little damaged from the heat, the rocket stayed in control and the test was a success. They learned a lot of useful information for future flights.
