Anthropic has raised $13 billion in a Series F round led by ICONIQ, reaching a $183 billion valuation. Major investors such as Fidelity, Lightspeed, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, and Qatar Investment Authority joined the round, reflecting strong confidence in the company’s rapid growth.
Since launching Claude in March 2023, Anthropic’s revenue has skyrocketed – from about $1 billion at the start of 2025 to over $5 billion by August 2025, making it one of the fastest-growing tech firms in history.
The company now serves over 300,000 enterprise customers, with large accounts growing nearly sevenfold in the past year. Its new product, Claude Code, introduced in May 2025, already generates more than $500 million in run-rate revenue.
Anthropic’s rise has been fueled by its top technical talent, focus on safety, and pioneering work in alignment and interpretability, which ensure the reliability of its models. The new funding will expand enterprise capacity, strengthen safety research, and support global expansion.
