An investigation uncovered digital and financial connections between the anonymous adult forum LeakedBB and Jitendra Maharaj, a New Zealand-based former pilot and cryptocurrency entrepreneur who co-founded a crypto exchange and payments platform.
LeakedBB operated as an online community with over 2.3 million registered users, averaging approximately two million visits per month. The platform hosted and monetized non-consensual intimate imagery. Including media claimed to be hacked, leaked, or obtained through blackmail and extortion. Features on the site included forums dedicated to amateur content, user requests to identify specific women from social media profiles. And financial incentives or user ranks awarded for uploading leaked content. In one notable legal proceeding, a former track coach sentenced in 2024 for extorting over 100 women allegedly used the platform. With archived forum records matching exact post citations from federal court filings.
Technical evidence comprising historical domain registration data, SSL/TLS certificates, archived payment gateway records, and company filings traced LeakedBB’s digital infrastructure back to email addresses and business entities connected to Maharaj. In particular, forum users purchased digital “avatar packs” and site upgrades through Logica Limited, a company owned by Maharaj. Historical online posts also revealed prior commentary expressing interest in operating adult websites.
Following inquiries regarding these connections, cryptocurrency payment processor NowPayments terminated and blacklisted the platform’s account for violating its terms of service. While Maharaj acknowledged ownership of Logica Limited, he denied operating or managing LeakedBB. Within 48 hours of being invited to comment on the uncovered infrastructure ties, the LeakedBB website went offline and was taken down.
In conclusion, this investigation demonstrates that even operators relying on anonymous forums leave unavoidable digital footprints across domain registries, payment processors, and corporate filings. By combining technical forensic analysis with public record tracking, hidden online entities profiting from non-consensual content can be identified and held accountable, ultimately leading to their removal.
