Germany’s Nordex secures 90 MW wind turbine deal in Türkiye

Nordex Group announced a 90 MW order from ADY Akdeniz Rüzgar Enerjisi Üretim for the R24-Gürün wind project in central Sivas province.  The company will supply 14 N163/6.X Delta4000 turbines, adapted for cold climates, mounted on tubular steel towers with a hub height of 113 meters.

This project marks ADY Akdeniz Rüzgar’s first venture with Nordex. The firm will also receive a ten-year premium service package for maintenance and support. Ender Özatay, vice president for Türkiye and the Middle East, emphasized the order as proof of Nordex’s growth and contribution to Türkiye’s energy transition.

Nordex has held the leading market share in Türkiye since 2017, currently accounting for more than 31% of installed wind capacity. The project aligns with Türkiye’s objective to expand renewable capacity, especially through new solar and wind energy investments.
